The Elementalist is a master of arcane magics. Fire will engulf your enemies, wind will batter them, earth will make you stronger. Elementalists are not strong in combat, however their magics can make up for this. When surrounded they can call on fire to damage their foes, or use air and lightning to incapacitate them. Elementalists can currently do more damage with a single attack than any other profession, however if they are caught with no where to run or hide they can be subdued very quickly.

The Elementalist abilities combine well those of other professions. As a Warrior, the Elementalist Point Blank Area of Effect skills (eg Inferno and Crystal Wave) are very useful, as are the weapon-enhancing Conjure Flame, Frost and Lightning skills.

Newly created Elementalists start with basic armor. Each piece of armor (boots, gloves, vest and pants) provides 5 armor with the vest and gloves also giving +5 to max energy supply (for a total of +10), while the boots and pants each give +1 to energy regeneration (total of +2). New, and better, armor can be crafted as the Elementalist gains levels.





The Elementalist has access to five Attributes. These are Energy Storage, Fire Magic, Air Magic, Earth Magic and Water Magic. Energy Storage is only available if you take Elementalist as your primary profession.

Energy Storage: (Primary Only) Placing points in this Attribute will increase the maximum energy available to use skills. Each point grants an additional 3 to your maximum. An Elementalist with a maximum energy storage attribute score of 12 will have a maximum energy supply of 66 (plus any bonus from other sources).

Fire Magic: Fire Magic increases the effectiveness of all Fire aligned skills. For most skills this means an increase in the amount of damage the skill deals, however the exact effect varies.

Air Magic: Air Magic increases the effectiveness of all Air aligned skills. For most lightning skills this means increased damage. Effects vary depending on the skill.

Earth Magic: Earth Magic increases the effectiveness of all Earth aligned skills. Improvements include increased damage and increased duration of enchantments.

Water Magic: Water Magic increases the effectiveness of all Water aligned skills. Improvements vary depending on the skill.

Description: Lose all Enchantments. For the next 60 seconds, if you're wielding a fire weapon, your attacks strike for an additional 1/13/17 fire damage.
